2015, The Year of Wedding Travel

Happy 2015! I’m so excited about this year for multiple reasons. Not only am I having a destination wedding, but I’m also planning to go to 3 other weddings in places that I love. So if 2014 was the year of Caribbean travel (and I loved it oh so much!), it looks like 2015 will be the year of destination wedding travel. Here is the rundown:

1) Los Angeles, California: The first wedding of the year takes place at the Skirball Cultural Center in March. It’s been almost 2 years since I last visited the place that I called home for a few years, so I am excited to get back and celebrate!

2) Kent, England: I’m super excited for my cousins wedding in June and have coined it my version of the Royal Wedding :-). The wedding is taking place at Old Kent Barn, which is located Southeast of London. Kent, known as The Garden of England has a few sites that I am eager to see. Prior to this trip, I’ve only visited the city of London, so I’m looking forward to visiting the White Cliffs of Dover, canals in Canterbury, Dover Castle – and eating traditional fish and chips as much as possible! After Kent, I’ll be spending the remainder of the vacation in Battersea.

3) San Diego, California: A short 2 months later it’s back to California, where one of my college besties will be getting married at the Garty Pavilion. As a bridesmaid, I am looking forward to helping out leading up to the event, and I feel like I’ll most definitely get teary at this one.

4) Barbados: And the last destination wedding of the year is my own, and I couldn’t be more excited! After looking at countless venues and completely obsessing over options, my fiancé and I decided on The Crane resort. Still finalizing details, and a wedding post will be up in the near future! 🙂
